You get System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x800706B3) when you change the account settings of your Reporting Services


If you try to change the account settings of your reporting services 2005 you get the following error:

System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x800706B3)
at System.Runtime.InteropServices.Marshal.ThrowExceptionForHRInternal(Int32 errorCode, IntPtr errorInfo)
at System.Management.ManagementObject.Get()
at ReportServicesConfigUI.WMIProvider.RSReportServerAdmin.SetUnattendedExecutionAccount(String userName, String password)

I fixed this error enabling protocol named pipes under my SQL Configuration Control Panel.
